Picture this: Collaborative Filmbuilding

Cross-Cultural Filmbuilding is a workshop series jointly produced by the Bellingham Youth Media Project, the Bellingham Sister Cities Association and Filmbuilding.org that provides high school students a non-traditional way to approach filmmaking through collaborative, media-based storytelling. The creation of these stories builds connections between youth in Bellingham, WA, and our sister cities throughout the world, thereby creating opportunities for meaningful personal and diplomatic bonds.

Our first workshop, Resemblances, brought together youth from Bellingham, Vaasa (Finland), Tateyama (Japan), and Port Stephens (Australia) for a four-day, media production blitz! Click on the “Learn More” button to see the results.
