Guerilla Film Project

Pickford Film Center’s, Guerilla Film Project (GFP) is a 65 hour filmmaking competition for high school students, which attracts budding young filmmakers from Washington State. In February over Presidents day weekend, GFP hosts teams of 3-5 students gathering in downtown Bellingham. Each year high school students from across Northwest Washington gather in a race against the clock to write, shoot, cut and edit a 3 minute film in under 65 hours. All film entries are required to use a specified line of dialogue and select props.
